Rental Villa Website Design with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Rental villa website design Overview
A few years ago it suddenly became obvious to all villa owners that they had to have
a website to try and generate bookings through the internet, to show the
website address in adverts and to link to from other villa websites. But now, as
everyone has a website the challenge is to be ahead of the pack, what is needed
now is to have Search Engine Optimisation in order to be able to be ahead of
the pack. Would you like a Free Website
Analysis Service of your current villa website if you already have one?
So, what is Search Engine Optimisation? Search engines are built using Bot's to
read websites, these are pieces of code that are always moving around the internet,
finding new content, readying through it and trying to index the content. The more
the website matches what the Bots are looking for, and a few other things, the better
a website will appear in the search results for a set search, this is a summary
of Search Engine Optimisation. In other words if your site was built perfectly and
had the right number of keywords, website structure, external links and more, then
you would rank number 1 in the search engine when someone searched, for example,
for "Private Villas In Florida". Search Engine Optimisation is a fine art but have
a Search Engine Optimised website will make a big difference in your web traffic
and therefore your bookings.
Below I explain a basic overview of some of the main elements that are involved
in Search Engine Optimisation and the benefits of using them. All of these examples
and a lot more are included in any website we build for you.
Website Design Structure
A Major part of a Search Engine Optimisation with a Villa Website
is the basic structure of the page. There are 2 parts to a page design with SEO,
the first is the layout that the customer sees and the second is the layout that
the Search Engine can see. Web pages are written in HTML language that is then transferred
into the images and text that you see in your browser, what we are able to do is
create the design of the page just how we want it but just looking at the HTML the
layout of the page is almost upside down.
This is more easily described visually. If you look at the 2 images below, the first
image shows the basic shell of a page layout and this is designed obviously to have
a heading, then the main body of the text and then a footer at the bottom with links
to some standard information. This is the typical page design and what someone visiting
a website would expect to see. In image 2 this shows the Search Engine Optimisation
design part of the page. This is important as this
means that the search engine will look at the page content first rather than
looking at the same header that it has seen on every other page. It is generally
believed that Search Engine Bot's will only read a certain
sized part of a page file and so it is important that the content you
want it to read is shown on the page first.
